Google adds new search options
16/05/09 | | |Google has introduced several new tools for refining search results. The search options, available directly on the results page, allow users to sort and reshape results and explore their queries to quickly and more easily find what they need.
Click Show options... just below the Google logo on a results page to show a number of filters to apply to results. You can view results by type - including videos, forums or reviews - and it's also possible to limit results to a certain time frame. This means you can choose to see results from the last 24 hours, past week or past year.Alternatively you can choose to display images as well as the standard text snippet from each page or show more text for each result.
The new Wonder Wheel shows a graphical representation of related searches, and can help you quickly narrow down your search without having to read through the list of results.
